Graduate Sales Representative

About the role

As a Graduate Sales Representative you will learn to identify new business opportunities, build client relationships and introduce businesses to innovative advertising solutions. This hands‑on role is designed for recent graduates who want to develop commercial skills and a foundation for a career in sales and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Connect with marketing managers, media agencies and businesses to present S&J Media Group’s advertising solutions.
• Research potential clients, identify opportunities and turn prospects into customers.
• Organise and attend face‑to‑face client meetings across Sydney.
• Assist with advertising proposals, presentations and campaign recommendations.
• Manage leads, nurture relationships and contribute to sales results.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop ideas, deliver client service and grow the business.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (or final‑year student) with a degree in business, marketing, communications, media or related field.
• People‑oriented, confident communicator with strong rapport‑building skills.
• Curious, eager to learn and open to feedback.
• Proactive, ambitious and resilient with a goal‑oriented mindset.
• Organised with effective time‑management and follow‑up abilities.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel for client meetings around Sydney.
