About the role
SMEC is seeking a recent Electrical Engineering graduate to join its Rail & Metro team in Brisbane. As part of a two‑year Graduate Development Program, you will work on major rail and metro infrastructure projects, gaining hands‑on experience and structured learning.
Key responsibilities
- Support design development, including drawings, models and technical documentation.
- Assist with engineering calculations and analysis under senior guidance.
- Participate in site visits and inspections to understand design implementation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate design inputs and meet project milestones.
Required profile
- Recent graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Required skills
- Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD.
