Graduate Account Executive – Insurance Brokerage

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for a motivated graduate to join its Corporate and Commercial team in Canberra. This hybrid, full‑time position offers an entry‑level pathway into insurance broking, supporting senior brokers and developing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior and principal account brokers with portfolio management and client servicing.
• Support the development, implementation and management of risk‑management and insurance programmes.
• Maintain long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers and stay informed of client business needs.
• Process invoices, policy accounting, quotations, premium calculations, policy wording and certificates of currency.
• Liaise and negotiate with clients, underwriters and claims managers.
• Develop a basic technical understanding of relevant insurance classes and specialist services.
