General Manager, APAC

About the role

Omnea, an AI-first procurement platform used by companies such as Spotify, PayPal, T. Rowe Price, JustEat, Adyen and S&P Global, is looking for a founding General Manager, APAC based in Melbourne. Reporting to the CCO and CEO, you will own regional revenue growth and processes, build the teams and playbooks that take Omnea from strong traction to market leadership, and represent the company in high-stakes customer conversations with CFOs, COOs and procurement leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Set GTM strategy and personally drive and close the largest deals in the APAC region, working with the CEO and CCO to expand the ICP and verticals.
• Act as executive sponsor for core deals and represent Omnea at industry events, analyst briefings and customer roundtables.
• Partner with Marketing, Partnerships and RevOps to align the machine for growth, and build the APAC outbound engine with channel partners and analysts.
• Embed rigor into forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning and deal reviews (MEDDPIC).
• Use APAC customer insight to shape product requirements, integration workflows, and security, compliance and data-residency expectations.
• Recruit, coach and lead GTM leaders and build high-performing sales teams across the region.

Required profile

• 10+ years of B2B SaaS leadership, including 3+ years leading regional GTM or P&L functions.
• Track record as an enterprise sales IC and leader, closing proper enterprise deals (100k+) with many stakeholders.
• Proven track record of building and scaling commercial teams across multiple markets, from early stage to growth.
• Strong ability to recruit, coach and retain top sales talent.
• Good commercial intuition, communication skills and executive presence, able to sell to senior leadership.
• Enthusiastic seller, strategic operator and hands-on people leader who travels frequently with the team.
