General Manager – 4.5‑star Hotel in Melbourne CBD

About the role

AccorHotel is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead Novotel Melbourne on Collins, a contemporary 4.5‑star hotel in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. You will be responsible for overall hotel performance, driving operational excellence and delivering outstanding guest and employee experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to maximise revenue, profitability and market share.
• Oversee all hotel operations – front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance – ensuring seamless service delivery.
• Manage capital projects, including the 2027 refurbishment and repositioning of the property.
• Control the hotel’s budget and P&L, implement cost‑control measures while maintaining service quality.
• Lead, mentor and develop the management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of General Manager experience in a comparable hotel.
• Proven track record of delivering strong financial results and meeting KPIs.
• Ability to build impactful relationships with owners, corporate partners and the community.
• Passionate about developing self and others, with clear communication skills.
