FX Sales Director

About the role

Join the FX Sales team in Perth, part of Macquarie's Commodities and Global Markets division. You will expand the FX client base across Western Australia, building strong relationships with corporate, private equity and family office clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage new clients, maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Develop and execute tailored FX strategies, providing advice on risk management, hedging and transaction execution.
• Collaborate with trading, research and risk management teams to deliver seamless solutions.
• Exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth through disciplined prospecting.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in financial markets sales, preferably covering Western Australia.
• Proven success in outbound sales and client acquisition.
• Established relationships with corporates, private equity firms or family offices in WA (preferred).
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of foreign exchange markets, products and solutions.
• Ability to analyse market trends and client needs to create value‑adding FX solutions.
• Relevant certifications such as ACI or CFA (advantage).
