Frontend Developer (QML, C++, CMake)

About the role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer with strong expertise in QML and C++ to join a leading telecom client in Australia. The role is remote, offering the chance to work on cutting‑edge user interfaces and build systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain user interfaces using QML and C++.
• Configure, maintain and optimise build processes with CMake.
• Implement containerisation and deployment workflows using Docker.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve integration issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and fix technical problems efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best‑practice standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in QML.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Experience with CMake build system.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerisation concepts.
