Freelance Russian to English Translator for Life Sciences

About the role

IQVIA is seeking freelance translators who are native English speakers with Russian language expertise to translate life sciences content, including clinical trial documents. This role allows you to work with a global leader in analytics and clinical research, delivering high‑quality translations on tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Translate, review, and edit Russian source material into English, focusing on life sciences and clinical trial documentation.
• Ensure translations are accurate, consistent, and delivered within agreed timelines.

Required profile

• Native fluency in English (target language) and fluency in Russian (source language), both spoken and written.
• At least 1 year of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life sciences content, clearly detailed in your CV.
• University degree in translation or linguistics with ≥2 years of translation experience, OR no degree with ≥5 years of translation experience.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with translation management systems and CAT tools.
• Experience with life sciences terminology and clinical trial documents.
