Food & Beverage Supervisor at Birdie Bar & Brasserie

About the role

This hands‑on position focuses on delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests at Birdie Bar & Brasserie, located in Novotel Sydney City Centre. You will lead a talented team, ensure smooth operations, and create memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of hospitality professionals.
• Provide efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service, adhering to menu knowledge, service standards and dietary requirements.
• Manage cash and charge summaries to balance daily revenue.
• Implement on‑the‑job training programs for colleagues.
• Build strong inter‑departmental relationships within the hotel.

Required profile

• Experience in food & beverage operations within a hotel or hospitality venue.
• All‑round F&B knowledge, including barista and bar skills.
• Passion for leadership with strong communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment and work a 38‑hour rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Valid NSW RSA and Australian working rights.
