Food & Beverage Attendant - Part Time

About the role

Mövenpick Hotel Melbourne is looking for part-time Food & Beverage Attendants to join its F&B team and help run its outlets, including the restaurant Miss Mi, which offers a South East Asian culinary experience. The team serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, an extensive bar and the hotel's meetings and events space.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth operation of the F&B outlets
• Explain the menu to guests and recommend wine and beverages
• Help guests with special dietary needs or preferences
• Maximise sales through upselling opportunities
• Provide enthusiastic service in a fast-paced environment
• Support all areas of F&B operations during peak times

Required profile

• Previous customer service experience
• Ability to work 3 to 4 shifts over 7 days, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
• Right to work in Australia; the employer cannot sponsor visas

Required skills

• Preferred: experience in a la carte service, wine service and coffee making
• Preferred: Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
