Food & Beverage Attendant – Functions Team

About the role

Royal Sydney, a private members' club in Rose Bay known for its sporting and hospitality excellence, is looking for experienced Food & Beverage Attendants for its functions team. The position is part-time, 15-25 hours per week, with flexibility to work during the week, on weekends including evenings and public holidays in line with event schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain front and back-of-house areas to a high standard.
• Provide five-star service with professionalism and strong attention to detail.
• Take accurate orders and ensure seamless service.
• Assist with wine service and table presentation.
• Maintain cutlery, linens and table décor.
• Ensure smooth, high-quality function operations.

Required profile

• Previous F&B experience in high-end hotels or function venues.
• Experience in function/banquet service (3-plate carry / 5-plate clear desirable).
• Friendly, positive and energetic disposition with excellent presentation standards.
• Ability to prioritise service and work under pressure.
• NSW RSA certificate and working rights in Australia.

Required skills

• Knowledge of wine and beverage offerings.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
