About the role

Compass Group Australia's Airline Lounge business serves travellers across lounge industries in Cairns, Queensland, with fresh, delicious offerings and lower-carbon menu options. The Food & Beverage Attendant supports the front-of-house team in delivering seamless lounge service, with a flexible roster across 7 days.

Key responsibilities

• Support the front-of-house team in delivering seamless lounge service
• Uphold high lounge presentation standards and keep all areas clean, organised and welcoming
• Perform basic food preparation tasks
• Monitor and replenish buffet and beverage stations proactively
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests

Required profile

• Valid RSA certification
• Willingness to undergo a police check for an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
• Well-presented, punctual, reliable and trustworthy
• Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment during peak travel times
• Commitment to safety and compliance, understanding the importance of secure airport operations
