Food and Beverage Supervisor

About the role

Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, Sydney's first international 5-star hotel, is looking for a passionate Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead its team at Delta Rue. The role supports the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operations and delivers a consistently high standard of guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day operation of Delta Rue.
• Supervise, lead and motivate food and beverage team members during daily operations.
• Allocate duties, prepare staff rosters where required and ensure adequate service coverage.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and share daily priorities, promotions, bookings and operational updates.
• Monitor staff performance and give constructive feedback and coaching.
• Monitor service standards, presentation, cleanliness and product quality.
• Handle guest enquiries, complaints and special requests professionally and promptly.
• Work closely with the kitchen and wider hotel team to deliver seamless service.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation.
• Ensure RSA, food safety, WHS and hotel procedures are followed.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar leadership role in a quality restaurant, hotel or hospitality environment is highly regarded.
• Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster.
• Full working rights in Australia are required.
