Food and Beverage Outlets Manager

About the role

Pullman & Mercure King George Square is a 438-room twin-towered hotel in the Brisbane CBD, opposite King George Square and City Hall, with external venues including Goldfinch Restaurant and Street Café, Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar and the internal KG Sports Bar. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, the Food and Beverage Outlets Manager oversees all F&B outlets and champions the guest and employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of Goldfinch Restaurant & Street Café, Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar, KG Sports Bar and in-room dining
• Lead the team hands-on, managing daily service flow across the restaurant, bars and in-room dining
• Drive revenue through team training and develop the team while maintaining service standards
• Create unique guest experiences and order and stock control
• Keep food, beverage and wage costs within budget
• Maintain and improve safety and hygiene standards
• Recruit, train and develop staff, including people succession planning

Required profile

• Experience in a similar leadership position and a passion for people and service
• Hands-on management style, able to multitask and develop individuals and the team
• Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends, mornings, nights and public holidays
• RMLV and Approved Managers Licence, or willingness to obtain it
