Food and Beverage Attendant – Champagne Bar

About the role

Join the vibrant Champagne Bar at Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour, delivering warm hospitality and personalised service in a luxury setting.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, create a warm atmosphere and provide attentive table and beverage service.
• Take accurate orders, recommend food, champagne, wine and cocktails, and answer menu questions.
• Deliver food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards.
• Maintain knowledge of the bar menu, beverage selection and current offerings.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond to requests and feedback professionally.
• Keep service areas clean, organized and support opening/closing duties, stock replenishment and teamwork with bar, kitchen and F&B staff.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service, food safety, hygiene and health‑and‑safety compliance.

Required profile

• Previous food & beverage or hospitality experience, preferably in a premium or high‑volume environment.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest service and a friendly, confident personality.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to stay calm in a fast‑paced setting.
• Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to support colleagues.
• Interest in champagne, wine and premium hospitality.
• Current RSA certificate and full Australian working rights.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
