Fly In Fly Out Clinical Pharmacist in Darwin

About the role

Join NT Health as a casual pharmacist on a 6‑ or 12‑month contract, working in short 4‑week blocks (or longer) in Darwin. This FIFO position offers a unique blend of professional challenge and tropical lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical pharmacy services across Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals.
• Manage complex cases including chronic kidney disease, tropical infections and Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander health.
• Participate actively in antimicrobial stewardship and infectious disease management programmes.
• Complete placements in 4‑week rotations, with the option to extend.

Required profile

• Hospital‑trained pharmacist willing to work on a FIFO basis.
• Flexibility to undertake short‑term contracts and travel to Darwin.
• Commitment to providing high‑quality patient care in a diverse clinical environment.

Required skills

• Clinical pharmacy expertise.
• Antimicrobial stewardship experience.
• Infectious disease management knowledge.
