First Nations Team Manager – Service Contact Centre

About the role

We are seeking a passionate First Nations leader to manage our Roadside Contact Centre team. This identified role is open only to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples and focuses on embedding First Nations protocols into daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing customer service team.
• Foster a culturally safe, inclusive and supportive environment.
• Champion First Nations perspectives and cultural safety across operations.
• Manage escalated customer enquiries with empathy and professionalism.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and retention of First Nations employees.

Required profile

• Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage accepted by your community.
• Experience leading, coaching or developing teams.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Passion for supporting and advocating for First Nations people.

Required skills

• Experience in customer service, contact centres or operational environments.
• Ability to influence, motivate and inspire others.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
