Financial Planner – Private Wealth (Sydney)

About the role

Bell Potter Private Wealth is expanding its Sydney presence and seeks an experienced Financial Planner to deliver high‑quality, non‑investment advice to stockbrokers, private‑wealth advisers and their clients. You will operate as the sole non‑investment client adviser, supported by a Melbourne‑based paraplanning and administrative team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial advice aligned to client goals.
• Build and maintain long‑term, trusted relationships with investment advisers and their clients.
• Identify opportunities to deepen client engagement and outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with local and interstate advisers, paraplanners and client services teams.
• Maintain the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.
• Commit to continuous self‑improvement by expanding technical expertise.

Required profile

• Experience as a Financial Planner within a professional advice firm.
• Relevant business or commerce tertiary degree.
• Strong technical and strategic advice capability.
• Self‑starter with ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• SMSF experience.
