Financial Adviser – Advice-Only Role

About the role

Trend Advisory is seeking a dedicated Financial Adviser who thrives on strategy and client conversations. The position focuses solely on delivering high‑quality advice without the burden of prospecting, paraplanning, or extensive paperwork.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct strategy and advice meetings with new and existing clients.
• Understand each client’s objectives, financial position, and priorities.
• Develop practical, compliant, and commercially sound advice strategies.
• Provide clear instructions to the paraplanning team and review Statements of Advice before presentation.
• Co‑present recommendations, explain complex strategies simply, and manage client questions throughout the advice process.
• Collaborate with the administration team during implementation and train administrators to reduce direct involvement.
• Maintain thorough file notes, records, and compliance standards.
• Conduct ongoing review meetings, identify new advice needs, and contribute to improving advice processes and client experience.

Required profile

• Strong financial adviser with a genuine passion for strategy and client interaction.
• Comfortable taking ownership of the advice relationship and guiding clients through important financial decisions.
• Not a salesperson; focused on delivering high‑quality advice rather than generating leads.
