Financial Accountant

About the role

The Financial Accountant supports accurate management and reporting of the organisation’s financial resources, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and legislative obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and support the month‑end close process.
• Complete balance‑sheet and key account reconciliations, including complex transit, intercompany, and suspense accounts.
• Maintain a complete and accurate general ledger.
• Collect, compile, verify, and analyse financial information for management reporting and accounting statements.
• Assist with statutory accounts, financial reporting, and compliance with SOX controls.
• Prepare supporting evidence for internal control requirements and respond to audit requests.
• Develop practical Excel models and tools to improve finance efficiency.
• Share finance knowledge and provide guidance on systems, processes, and tools.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of relevant financial accounting experience.
• Strong technical accounting, reconciliation, and analytical skills.
• Effective stakeholder‑management and communication abilities.

Required skills
