Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to own corporate accounting, financial control, cash flow, reporting and compliance across the business. This hands‑on leadership role works closely with the Finance Director and wider business to deliver accurate, timely financial information for effective decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and year‑end financial close processes and balance‑sheet governance.
• Manage corporate management reporting, Group reporting and EPM submissions.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cash‑flow forecasting, including a 13‑week cash‑flow forecast.
• Monitor working capital performance, receivables, payables and related KPIs.
• Coordinate statutory accounts, internal and external audit requirements and tax compliance (BAS, FBT, income tax, payroll tax).
• Maintain controls over fixed assets, capital expenditure and lease accounting.
• Drive improvements in finance systems, automation and process efficiency.

Required profile

• tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of senior finance experience, preferably in a Big 4 environment.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA or equivalent.
• Strong experience in month‑end/year‑end close, balance‑sheet reconciliation and financial governance.
• Demonstrated ability in budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow and working‑capital management.
• Sound knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation requirements.
