Finance Business Partner – International

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position is based in Melbourne and sits within ANZ’s International Institutional Finance team. You will partner with finance and business stakeholders across ANZ’s international network, providing timely analysis, performance insights and commercial support.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with International business and Finance stakeholders to understand commercial drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and support well‑informed decisions.
• Translate complex financial and non‑financial information into clear, executive‑ready insights, narratives and presentation materials for International leadership.
• Build an integrated view across countries and product areas, connecting performance across revenue, expenses, balance sheet, capital, returns, customer and risk information.
• Investigate important business questions and emerging trends across products and geographies, considering macro‑economic, market, regulatory and competitive factors.
• Provide high‑quality analysis to support strategic planning and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with country Finance teams, product business partners, Financial Performance Management, Financial Control and other specialist teams across multiple time zones.
