Finance Business Champion Lead – Core Systems Replacement

About the role

Greater Dandenong City Council is undertaking a major digital transformation and core systems renewal, and is looking for an experienced Finance Business Champion Lead to join its Core Systems Replacement team. The role works closely with the CSR Project Team, Finance stakeholders and implementation partners to support, enhance and modernise Council's critical business systems. It is a temporary full-time position of 12 months with possible extension, based in Dandenong, paid $112,119-$125,458 per annum plus super.

Key responsibilities

• Help shape future-state finance processes
• Support testing and business readiness activities
• Ensure finance governance, controls, reporting requirements and legislative obligations are maintained during the transition

Required profile

• Demonstrated knowledge of finance operations, governance, controls and reporting
• Experience supporting the implementation or replacement of finance or enterprise systems
• Ability to analyse business processes and align them to standard system functionality
• Experience planning and conducting testing activities and validating business outcomes
• Collaborative approach across project teams, vendors and business units
• Commitment to supporting organisational change and driving adoption of new systems
