Finance Manager

About the role

Join Cleanaway's OTS Finance team as a Finance Manager, leading a team of three finance professionals and owning a broad portfolio that includes month‑end delivery, commercial business partnering and people leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop three finance professionals, building capability and a high‑performing team.
• Drive timely and accurate month‑end activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Deliver financial analysis and insights to support an accurate view of business performance.
• Partner with senior commercial and operational leaders, providing trusted financial advice and decision support.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning activities, including performance and variance analysis.
• Oversee financial reporting, periodical accounts and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, accuracy and efficiency.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification with tertiary studies in Business, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• Strong financial and management accounting knowledge, including consolidation, month‑end and financial reporting.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and variance reporting.
• Demonstrated people‑leadership experience, able to coach and develop a high‑performing finance team.
• Commercial acumen and business‑partnering skills with confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
• High standards of accuracy, organisation and accountability with a continuous‑improvement mindset.

Required skills

• MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with TM1 or similar finance systems.
