Finance Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Accountant to join the Australia Finance team in Perth. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, the role supports accurate financial reporting, month‑end close, and compliance activities. It offers exposure to a broad range of accounting functions in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end close requirements, including accruals, journals and reconciliations.
• Prepare various monthly financial reports.
• Manage corporate vendor accounts and Flexi‑purchase credit card system.
• Assist with preparation of annual statutory accounts and quarterly group reporting.
• Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with accounting standards, company policies and SOX controls.
• Support financial analysis, audit requests and regulatory reporting requirements.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualified or in the final stages of qualification.
• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with large ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
