FIFO/BIBO Chef - 14:7 Roster

About the role

Sodexo is looking for experienced chefs to join its remote operations in a busy camp environment, providing quality meals that keep mining communities running safely and efficiently. This is a FIFO and BIBO position based in Sydney, NSW, on a 14-day on, 7-day off roster with 11-hour days. The opportunity is casual with the potential for permanent placement for high-performing employees.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare meals across breakfast, crib and dinner services
• Work in a high-volume catering environment
• Maintain food safety and HACCP standards
• Deliver consistent quality and presentation
• Work as part of a supportive kitchen team

Required profile

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
• Experience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchens
• FIFO, DIDO or remote site experience desirable but not essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to work in remote environments and varying weather conditions
• Full Australian working rights

Required skills

• Strong food safety and hygiene knowledge
