Field Service Technician

About the role

Total Field Solutions is a Melbourne-based provider of end-to-end technical field services, covering more than 65% of Australia's population. It specializes in the installation, maintenance and technical support of EFTPOS, POS and IT equipment. As a Field Service Technician you will install and maintain critical technical equipment at client locations, working independently with hands-on expertise and good customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and decommission EFTPOS and POS systems
• Perform upgrades and technical services for IT devices
• Provide on-site training and customer support
• Manage and maintain vehicle stock

Required profile

• Prior experience in field service or a technical support role is highly valued
• Organized, detail-oriented and customer-focused
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to manage time effectively
• ABN and a reliable vehicle required
• Available Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and public holidays

Required skills

• Technical, IT or electrical experience (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong customer service skills
