About the role
The Field Service Technician provides technical support, maintenance, repairs and corrective actions for Baxter medical devices across hospitals and clinics in ANZ. This casual, field‑based position works closely with customers to ensure equipment remains operational and compliant.
Key responsibilities
- Perform field corrective actions, repairs, maintenance and technical service activities on Baxter equipment.
- Plan and execute service work according to customer requirements, quality standards and business priorities.
- Manage service requests from acknowledgment through completion, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
- Provide first‑level technical support and troubleshooting both remotely and on‑site.
- Maintain accurate service records, equipment histories and documentation in line with Good Documentation Practice.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years experience in hospitals, healthcare environments or technical service settings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities with a customer‑focused attitude.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively as part of a team.
Required skills
- Troubleshooting technical equipment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic understanding of databases, networking and information systems.
