Field Service Technician

About the role

Adaptalift is looking for a Field Service Technician to join its growing JCB dealership network in Welshpool, WA. You will spend the majority of your time on customer sites, delivering high‑quality service, breakdown support and preventative maintenance for JCB construction, agricultural and industrial equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns in the field.
• Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Conduct fault‑finding across a range of plant and vehicle types.
• Work directly with customers to ensure safe and professional service delivery.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams on complex repairs.
• Represent Adaptalift professionally on all customer sites.

Required profile

• Mechanical Trade Certificate (any mechanical trade).
• Experience with fixed or mobile plant, construction, agricultural or automotive equipment.
• Previous experience with JCB or other OEM equipment is desirable.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and full working rights.
• Willingness to undergo pre‑employment medical, drug and alcohol screening.
