Field Service HD Mechanic - Mackay

About the role

BTP, part of the Perenti Group and one of Australia's largest suppliers of machinery rental, parts and services to the mining, construction and earth-moving industries, is looking for experienced Field Service Technicians to join its Mackay-based team. You will report to the Field Service Supervisor and work across project sites for internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and component changeouts on Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment
• Work across a range of project sites for BTP internal and external customers

Required profile

• Relevant trade certificate (mandatory)
• Previous experience in a similar customer-facing position
• Expert knowledge of mining equipment systems with strong diagnosis and troubleshooting skills
• Firm understanding of CAT SIS and ET systems (mandatory)
• Understanding of statutory and legislative requirements
• Coal Board medical and Standard 11 where required
• Preferred: Working at Heights and confined space HRWL, dogging licence, HR driver's licence
