Fellow/Registrar/Senior Registrar - Interventional Radiology

About the role

Metro North Health is offering a temporary, full-time training position in Interventional Radiology within the Department of Medical Imaging, based in Brisbane North. It is a fellowship specialist training role aimed at developing the skills needed to become a subspecialist radiologist in all aspects of Interventional Radiology. The recommended duration is one year or a total of two years.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake specialised fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
• Assist and train to become independent in Interventional Radiology procedures and provide clinical IR services for inpatients and outpatients
• Assist with registrar teaching and training in Interventional Radiology and take part in other teaching if required
• Take part in IR clinical audit, including result analysis

Required profile

• Passed Part II FRANZCR or equivalent, with all necessary assessment tasks completed by the time of appointment
• Ability to perform the accountabilities listed above in line with Metro North Health's values
