Fashion Designer – Womenswear

About the role

Cotton On is looking for a creative, commercially‑driven Designer to join the Womenswear Wovens team. You will shape the brand’s future by turning trends, customer insights and brand direction into compelling product stories that resonate with our audience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop product aligned to brand DNA, customer needs and commercial outcomes.
• Own the design journey from concept through to sample, ensuring accuracy, quality and fit.
• Create CADs, tech packs and design specifications to bring ideas to life.
• Partner closely with Buying, Trend and Production teams to align ranges and deliver on time.

Required profile

• Qualification in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Proven experience in a Designer role with a strong eye for trend‑led product.
• Ability to lead and develop a reporting team.
• High attention to detail across all design and development stages.

Required skills

• Strong hand‑sketching ability.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator for creating CADs and design specs.
