Family Lawyer – Campbelltown

About the role

A well-regarded suburban law group with a strong local presence in the Macarthur region is looking for an experienced Family Lawyer to take ownership of its family law work, managing cases from first instruction through to final resolution. The role suits an experienced family lawyer who wants autonomy and a better work-life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a family law caseload end to end, including parenting matters, property settlements, divorce and financial agreements
• Work autonomously, running your own files with the trust and space to do so
• Appear in the Federal Circuit and Family Court as required
• Build strong relationships with clients, mainly local families and individuals
• Work within a capable, supportive team with good support staff behind you

Required profile

• Admitted lawyer with solid post-admission family law experience, confident to run matters independently from start to finish
• Ideally based in or near Campbelltown and the Macarthur region, or willing to commute

Required skills

• Strong client skills, with a practical, empathetic and commercial approach
• Sound knowledge of family law practice and procedure in NSW
• Organised and self-directed, with the judgement to know when to escalate

What we offer

• Salary of $150,000-$160,000 plus superannuation
• No billable hours or time targets
• Regular business hours, 9-5, with no late nights and no weekend work
