Family Law Paralegal – LegalTech

About the role

Join a cutting‑edge LegalTech startup as a Family Law Paralegal. You will work at the intersection of family law and artificial intelligence, helping shape a product that automates routine legal tasks while ensuring high‑quality outcomes for law firms.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to real‑time inbound requests from law firms via Intercom‑style messaging, with full case context.
• Diagnose and resolve issues the AI cannot handle by editing backend data, completing documents, and fine‑tuning workflows.
• Communicate directly with clients and lawyers by phone to clarify needs and gather missing information.
• Translate every manual intervention into clear product tickets for the development team, driving continuous improvement.
• Prioritise a reactive queue of support requests, ensuring timely resolution of high‑impact items.
• Assist firms in preparing existing matters for integration with the AI Paralegal platform.
• Collaborate with product teams to test and launch new features for family law practitioners.

Required profile

• Solid experience as a family‑law paralegal, either through study or professional practice.
• Strong analytical judgment to turn support cases into product enhancements.
• Excellent communication skills for phone and written interactions with lawyers and clients.

Required skills

• Familiarity with family‑law procedures and documentation.
• Ability to navigate and edit a SaaS backend system.
• Experience using messaging platforms for client support (e.g., Intercom).
