Faculty Operations Officer

About the role

The Faculty Operations Officer provides coordinated, high‑quality operational and administrative support to the Faculty of Business and Law at QUT. Working within a centralised administration pool, the role assists the Director of Operations and Associate Deans and is deployed flexibly across schools and faculty teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day operational and administrative services that enable faculty‑wide priorities.
• Coordinate information flow, processes and stakeholder activities across schools.
• Support the Director of Operations and Associate Deans with reporting, planning and project implementation.
• Provide responsive service delivery and maintain consistent administrative standards.
• Assist with the organisation of events, meetings and workshops as required.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in operational and administrative support within a complex organisation.
• Strong organisational and coordination abilities with capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting clear, audience‑appropriate documents.
• Eligibility to work full‑time in Australia and, for Indigenous applicants, encouragement to apply.
