Facilities Manager

About the role

JLL is seeking an Onsite Facilities Manager to lead facilities services for Commonwealth‑owned properties within the Whole of Australian Government portfolio. You will work closely with the National Facilities Manager and build strong relationships with client staff and tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with client stakeholders and on‑site tenants to exceed expectations and maintain effective relationships.
• Oversee all facilities activities, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, Critical Environment Management (CEM) requirements and operational standards.
• Manage site financials, control costs and maintain accurate property data in web‑based systems.
• Champion health and safety by implementing disaster recovery, business continuity plans and 24/7 emergency support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, building, business or equivalent, or 3–5 years relevant experience.
• Experience in critical environments with strong knowledge of health, safety & environment (HS&E) compliance and vendor management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Clearance and any additional entity‑specific clearances.
