Experienced Graduate – Architecture (Education)

About the role

Architectus is seeking an experienced graduate to join its Education team. This position offers the chance to work on meaningful education projects within a collaborative, design‑led studio environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to design development, detailed design and documentation across all project stages.
• Conduct site visits and resolve on‑site issues.
• Prepare architectural documentation, renderings, presentations and visual material that meet project objectives and quality standards.
• Provide technical input and recommend practical design solutions, applying knowledge of architectural principles, construction methods, codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with senior team members, clients, consultants, contractors and technical specialists to support smooth project delivery.
• Assist with quality control and ensure all documentation aligns with Architectus standards and filing protocols.
• Support and guide junior team members with technical advice as required.

Required profile

• Minimum three years post‑graduation experience in an architectural or design role, preferably on education projects.
• Australian architectural registration, or willingness to work toward registration.
• Strong design thinking combined with solid technical, documentation and construction knowledge, including Australian codes and materials.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage delegated tasks independently.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to professional development and studio culture.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
