Experienced Analyst – Internal Audit (Darwin)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced analyst to join its internal audit team in Darwin. You will work on a variety of projects across government, non‑profit, energy, resources, infrastructure and defence sectors, helping clients improve their control environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver differentiated internal audit services and transform control management using digital and data tools.
• Manage client‑facing responsibilities across multiple projects and industries, building strong relationships with national teams.
• Lead and mentor junior team members while contributing to a collaborative team culture.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to understand business processes and controls, and apply an insights‑driven approach.
• Fast learner with a passion for sharing knowledge and staying current on emerging risks and technologies.

Required skills

• Experience in data analytics and information systems.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), CA or CPA (preferred but not mandatory).
