About the role

KPMG Mid Market & Private is a specialist division of KPMG Australia that advises emerging, private and mid-market clients, including entrepreneurs, family businesses, private clients, not-for-profits and fast-growing companies. Its audit teams deliver quality, independent financial statement audits and assurance services. This Assistant Manager position leads and manages engagements for high-profile clients, covers all aspects of audit delivery and client service, and includes advisory-related engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage engagements for high-profile clients, covering all aspects of audit delivery, client service and business development
• Execute advisory-related engagements
• Provide inspirational leadership to grow and develop talent
• Build strong relationships with prestigious audit clients and contribute to quality assurance and reporting
• Work on some of the largest audit clients and benefit from a structured future leadership program and a global network of offices

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualifications, including a CA, or the ability to obtain a CA
• Proven track record of high performance and success
• Demonstrated team leadership abilities

Required skills

• Strong IFRS skills
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
