Executive/Manager - FP&A, Business Banking

About the role

Macquarie's Financial Management team partners with the Business Banking business within Banking and Financial Services to support financial performance, business planning and decision-making, working closely with senior leaders. This Executive/Manager role delivers forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting for Business Banking, based in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across Business Banking to deliver forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting.
• Analyse business results, identify trends and opportunities, and provide insights that support commercial decision-making.
• Help improve reporting processes and contribute to strategic planning activities across the division.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as CA or CPA, or progress towards completion, supported by a degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related discipline.
• Understanding of banking, financial services or regulated industries, with an interest in commercial drivers and business performance.

Required skills

• Budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and variance analysis, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and identify key drivers of business performance.
• Clear communication and presentation skills, able to share insights and recommendations with a range of stakeholders.
