Executive Partner – senior advisory role for CIOs

About the role

The Executive Partner (EP) joins Gartner’s Executive Programs, an exclusive membership organization serving thousands of CIOs and senior IT leaders worldwide. The EP acts as a coach, content provider and business advisor, delivering tailored service solutions to senior executives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 25‑33 member relationships across public and commercial sectors.
• Leverage subject‑matter expertise to create and deliver customized service solutions using all Executive Programs products.
• Assess members’ Mission Critical Priorities and develop tailored service plans, including workshops, analyst visits, roundtables and webinars.
• Present or facilitate at local Executive Programs events and collaborate closely with Gartner’s Sales organization to drive engagement, renewal and growth.

Required profile

• 20+ years of progressive technology exposure, especially in digital and AI, with experience consulting C‑level IT leaders.
• Demonstrated ownership of large strategic programs and oversight of strategic IT direction.
• Deep knowledge of CIO focus areas, IT operations, strategy, trends and metrics.
• Advanced critical‑thinking, problem‑solving and ability to manage ambiguous situations.
• Excellent relationship‑building, collaboration, communication and executive presence.
• Proven sales or business‑development experience with CXO‑level executives.
• Willingness to travel 25‑30% domestically and internationally.
