Executive Officer (ASO5) & Senior Executive Officer (ASO6) – Temporary

About the role

The Office of the Under Treasurer is hiring two temporary executive support positions: an Executive Officer (ASO5) to the Chief Services Officer and a Senior Executive Officer (ASO6) to the Deputy Under Treasurer. Both roles work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, ministers’ offices and a wide range of government stakeholders to enable high‑level decision‑making and smooth departmental operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level administrative, organisational and executive support to senior leaders.
• Coordinate priorities, agendas, and follow‑up actions across the department.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and ensure timely delivery of leadership initiatives.
• Maintain confidential records, briefing materials and advisory documents.
• Support the effective operation of senior leadership offices and contribute to high‑profile projects.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in executive or senior administrative support.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced government environment.
