About the role
The Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide professional support to the Deputy Director General and other senior executives. This 12‑month fixed‑term role offers the opportunity to contribute to key departmental projects while working in a dynamic public‑sector environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide executive support to the Deputy Director General or other agreed senior executives.
- Manage calendars, arrange meetings, and coordinate travel logistics.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and other documents.
- Assist with departmental projects and initiatives as required.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the executive.
Required profile
- Demonstrated secretarial and administrative experience supporting senior executives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent written and presentation abilities.
- High‑level proficiency with word processing and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to apply leadership behaviours in a personal‑leadership context.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
