About the role
Mercur is seeking a proactive Executive Assistant & Admin Operations Expert to support its Chief Executive Officer. This remote contract position focuses on building robust administrative processes, managing complex scheduling, and streamlining expense and travel workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Design long‑horizon administrative tasks and deterministic rubrics to evaluate performance.
- Create and execute executive support scenarios, including calendar triage, multi‑timezone scheduling, and travel booking.
- Develop expense and procurement workflows using systems such as Concur, Expensify, and Ramp.
- Design office operations scenarios like service ticket routing and document filing against a taxonomy.
- Work independently and asynchronously to maintain focus on challenging tasks.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years experience as an EA, office manager, or senior administrator supporting busy principals.
- Expertise in principal‑level calendar triage, multi‑timezone scheduling, and expense systems.
- Familiarity with corporate travel platforms such as Navan and TravelPerk.
- Proficient in asynchronous communication and handling admin artifacts (itineraries, agendas, expense packages, service tickets).
- Clear written communication with the ability to encode reasoning into deterministic rubrics.
