Estimator

About the role

The Estimator will manage tenders from initial review through to submission, preparing estimates, BOQs and subcontractor comparisons for a range of projects across NSW.

Key responsibilities

• Manage tenders from initial review to submission.
• Prepare estimates, BOQs and subcontractor comparisons.
• Review documentation to identify scope gaps and project risks.
• Obtain and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Manage RFIs, clarifications and tender documentation.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and competitive solutions.

Required profile

• 5-8 years estimating experience with a commercial head contractor.
• Experience across newbuild, industrial, education, healthcare and/or refurbishment.
• Strong understanding of D&C, ECI and Construct Only projects.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
