About the role

This part‑time Financial Analyst position is based in Melbourne and operates on a hybrid schedule, combining on‑site and remote work. You will join the finance team to support the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports, gaining hands‑on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and validate financial data for periodic reporting.
• Perform variance and trend analyses to identify key drivers.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, preparing concise summaries for internal stakeholders.
• Support compliance with internal controls and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare basic financial models and assist with ad‑hoc financial projects.

Required profile

• Degree or ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
