Entry-Level CNC Operator

About the role

A client, a market leader in commercial furniture solutions supplying businesses across Western Australia, is looking for an entry-level CNC Operator in Canning Vale. The role suits someone starting or developing a career in CNC machining and manufacturing, with hands-on experience on laminated board, MDF, particleboard and timber products, supported by on-the-job training and an experienced team.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate CNC machinery following training and procedures
• Load and unload materials and components
• Perform basic quality checks and measurements
• Assist with production and workshop duties
• Operate a forklift to move materials safely around the facility
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
• Mechanically minded with a willingness to learn
• Comfortable in a fast-paced workshop environment
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to handle materials manually
• Current forklift licence (LF) required
• Previous manufacturing or workshop experience is advantageous but not essential

Required skills

• CNC experience or relevant trade qualifications are advantageous but not essential
• Basic quality checks and measurements
