Enterprise Sales Director – Retail & Digital Commerce

About the role

We are seeking an Enterprise Sales Director to lead new‑business growth for a global digital transformation consultancy. Based in a CBD office in Sydney or Melbourne (three days onsite per week), you will sell consulting and technology services to large retail and consumer brands, driving high‑value engagements across omnichannel commerce, customer experience and data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a go‑to‑market strategy targeting enterprise retail and consumer organisations.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of senior‑level contacts, creating and managing strategic account plans.
• Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles, from discovery and proposal development through negotiation and closure.
• Collaborate closely with internal solution, delivery and leadership teams to shape customer outcomes.
• Partner with technology and platform providers to identify and pursue joint opportunities.
• Stay up‑to‑date on retail trends, commerce technologies and digital transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven track record selling complex consulting, technology or professional services to enterprise retail or consumer brands.
• Experience in digital commerce, systems integration, customer experience, data analytics, cloud services or SaaS platforms.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to operate in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders.
