About the role
The Enterprise Architect will design and oversee long‑term architecture solutions across Australian Unity’s insurance platform, shaping the technology vision and strategy for the next 3‑5 years.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to drive business adoption of enterprise technology platforms aligned with domain strategy.
- Lead technology strategy discussions, communicate architecture vision and roadmap, and develop enterprise blueprints.
- Evaluate, select and adopt technology solutions that enable digital transformation and business value.
- Develop and enforce standards, guardrails and principles for technology usage.
- Lead application simplification and consolidation initiatives supporting enterprise simplification strategy.
- Support architectural governance processes, reviewing and approving new technology initiatives.
Required profile
- Advanced degree in computing, computer science, business/information systems or related field.
- 10+ years in strategic and operational planning as an Enterprise or Domain Architect.
- Experience across Business Architecture, Data/Information Architecture, Technology Architecture, Integration and Solution Architecture.
- Domain experience in health insurance, general insurance or financial services is highly desirable.
- Proven stakeholder influencing and management skills.
Required skills
- Customer relationship management platforms: Salesforce, ServiceNow, Dynamic365.
- Business process automation platforms: Tungsten TotalAgility, Appian, Salesforce Flow, Signavio, UiPath, PowerAutomate.
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure.
- Microservices frameworks and API‑enablement platforms such as webMethods.
