Enterprise Account Executive

About the role

Contentful is expanding its Enterprise Account Executive team across Australia. In this consultative, full‑cycle sales position you will drive new revenue and expansion within enterprise accounts ($1B+ revenue) by partnering with technical and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Source, negotiate and close new logo and expansion deals ranging from $50K to $1M+ ACV.
• Execute the MEDPICC sales methodology throughout the sales cycle, ensuring qualified deals and accurate forecasting.
• Lead value‑based engagements with C‑level executives, presenting ROI, business outcomes and tailored proposals.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Solutions Architects, BDRs and Customer Success to uncover technical challenges and drive adoption.

Required profile

• 4‑8+ years selling enterprise SaaS or PaaS platforms, with a focus on Martech, CMS or digital experience technologies.
• Proven track record of quota over‑achievement and closing $150K+ transactions in $1B+ organizations.
• Strong experience using MEDPICC (or equivalent) to manage complex enterprise deals.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Martech, DXP, headless CMS and content personalization platforms.
• Expertise in value‑based selling and consultative sales methodologies.
• Familiarity with customer data integration and cross‑channel content delivery.
